"I am helping Matthew in this election because the TDSB needs the energy and dedication that he will provide to make informed, evidenced-based decisions. I know him to be very hard working and of sound judgement. He will look out for the interests of students and parents, while understanding the broad needs of the full school board. Students with special needs will get his full attention and support. I am very confident Etobicoke Centre and Lakeshore residents will be proud of his work as a trustee."
"Matt brings an exciting perspective to the new TDSB Ward 2. His commitment to detailed analysis and thoughtful student-centred solutions is clearly evident to me. These traits, along with his CPA background, are invaluable to a Trustee. As a former student and as a father, he is also deeply invested in its outcomes. Matt will be a great and valuable addition to the Board of Trustees at the TDSB and I fully endorse his candidacy."
"My name is Rick Rakosy and I am a retired History and Politics teacher. The last 20 plus years I taught at Martingrove CI. I knew Matthew as both a conscientious and hardworking student and as a member of the school's Student government. In both capacities, Matthew truly was an outstanding young man, who worked both diligently at his studies and for the betterment of the student body. I have no doubt that he still possesses the skills necessary to serve as a school board trustee.
It is without trepidation that I endorse Matthew Zaffino for TDSB school board trustee."
